Tips for walks for families with children:
ŠPINDLMAN´S MISSION
Trail length: 9.5 km
A thrilling trail full of riddles and tasks, starting at the top of Medvědín mountain a little bit from the upper station of the cableway, will lead you back to Špindlerův Mlýn. On the way you complete a number of fun and instructive tasks and hopefully accomplish the mission of the mysterious hero Špindlman.
BEAR TRAIL
Nature trail length: 8.6 km
Walk on top of Medvědín (Bear Mountain), where the trail starts, and find out interesting information about a fascinating predator that used to wander in the Giant Mountains – the bear. Your children will be both entertained and instructed and all your family will enjoy a lovely walk in fresh air.
RIDE TO MEET ANIMALS
Nature trail length: 7.7 km
A brand new nature bike trail in Svatý Petr will lead you to the world of the inhabitants of the Giant Mountains forests. At each of the seven stops you will learn interesting things about the life of one of the animals you can you can hopefully meet on your walks in our mountains.
MOSS PATH
Nature trail length: 3.8 km
From the top of Pláň you can take a pleasant nature trail poetically named the Moss Path. If you choose to follow it, you will learn a lot of interesting information about the plants that grow in the Giant Mountains. You will be searching for them, sniffing them and writing down all your findings in a diary with a map, which you will get when buying your cableway ticket.
