Spindleruv Mlyn is referred to as the pearl of the Giant Mountains, mainly because of its favorable location in the middle of the highest Czech mountains at an altitude of 710 m in the territory of the Giant Mountains National Park.

The beautiful nature and favorable climatic conditions of Špindlerův Mlýn contributed to the fact that the former mining settlement was the most important center of foreign tourism. From May to October you can choose from a wide range of hiking trails. Optimal snow conditions for all winter sports last from December to the end of April. To Sněžka - by bus to Špindlerova bouda and across Polední kámen to the summit. Go back through the valley of the White Labe to the cottage at the White Labe, Myslivna restaurant and from there 3 km to Spindleruv Mlyn.
